Our team of Trained youth and family volunteers & workers from accross Nigeria began the journey to Makoko over 4 months prior to this visit. The choice of a meeting location in the heart of the Lagos lagoon was difficult and only surmounted by the availalbility of funds and releif materials for such an insecure area.

However, our efforts prooved gainful as not less than 650 teenagers attended the outreach and participated in counselling and awareness talks, games and vocational activities. Mentors were also assigned to teen mums and out-of-school teenagers.
